Somehow, we are two weeks away from Thanksgiving break! Friday we started our study of Unit 4: Ratios and Rate, with an introduction of ratios.

Monday-6.4BC-We will look at ratios as comparisons. We will take notes to learn how to use ratios as comparisons. We will have a practice page which will be homework if not completed in class. This is due by Tuesday.

Tuesday-6.4BC-We will look at ratios in tables and graphs. We will take note to learn.

Wednesday-6.4BC-We will apply our knowledge of ratios in real world situations. We will do some problems together and then there will be independent practice which will be homework (Due on Thursday) if not completed in class.

Thursday-6.4BC-We will take a quiz on ratios.

Friday-6.4BC-We will begin learning about rates. We will take notes to learn what it means to find the rate.

Monday- 6.3CD-We will continue learning how to multiply and divide with integers. We will take notes and have individual practice. If not finished in class, it will need to be finished for homework to be turned in tomorrow.

Tuesday-6.3CD-Unit 3 Review. Students will have time to work on the review in class.

Wednesday-6.4CD- Unit 3 Test. This test is over adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing integers (positive and negative whole numbers).

Thursday-6.4E-Begin Unit 4. Ratios and Rates. Lesson 1 Introduction to ratios. We will take notes and practice ratios. If not finished in class, it will need to be finished for homework to be turned in tomorrow.

Friday-6.4D-Lesson 2 Ratios as comparisons. We will take note and learn about how to use ratios as comparisons.
